Portland Favorite Moment #1

I went to Portland for the first time…

Portland favorite moment #1:

Up in Mt. Tabor Park this beautiful special tree area, ah! so beautiful and magical, tranquil…very special. I was taking a photo of this offering circle made out of roses that stood before me. This little bird appeared and started coming closer and closer. It was chirping and scouting the ground. It kept looking at me checking me out and coming closer and closer. I just laid there feeling grateful. It was so special. A hummingbird then flew by.

Later on there it was with its other bird friend smaller than he or she chirping nonstop moving around endlessly. (it was either a Projector worked up by the other MG bird or an MG itself lol). I went and I got some cake I had and took a tiny piece placing it in my hand. After a short while it came and ate out of my hand a few times. The other kept its distance. There were a lot of fun moments of watching their interaction and movements, some good laughs. I joked it has an open throat as it would not shut up!

At one point I just laid down completely on the ground with my hand and a little piece of cake on it. The bird did not want anymore, it was not interested. I completely relaxed and closed my eyes resting almost falling asleep. The bird then came up slowly slowly ignoring the cake and instead came right up to my nose looking at me moving its head around. I was and am so grateful for those beautiful special moments of our close up interaction and communion…the perfect gift and yes that was my favorite moment of the beautiful Portland adventure….
