The Humpback whales (kohola) are back on Maui. If I were to recap one of the most special moments in my life, it was one day back in 2002. I was at the beach and as I went under water I could hear the singing of the whales. it was so magical and special. I just kept on diving underwater so I could listen to their lullaby. I will never forget it there is just something about their sound. Even though all creatures are sacred, to me whales hold a special part in my heart.
