Portland Favorite Moment #2

Portland Favorite moment #2

There is this piano set at Mount Tabor and this little girl was playing. It was so beautiful this little girl was just going off doing her thing pressing whatever keys she wanted, it was so great. Me and my friend Jonah were admiring the beautiful scene. It was so lovely and joyful. A woman came over and sat next to her and started trying to teach her the “proper” way for her to play. Trying to teach her a specific song. The whole scene changed dramatically. Me and Jonah got annoyed.

Later Jonah sat down to play, a lovely scene as well. After a little bit the little girl joined him. It was BEAUTIFUL. He was playing his song and she went on her individual whatever came to her melody. The collective embracing the indivudal it was just beautiful. Both allowing each other to be themselves in their own worlds. Such a beautiful moment.

Later Jonah invited me to sit and play something I never do, yet actually I really enjoyed it not knowing and just going with whatever came to me, it was deeply relaxing….
